And like I say, Gin would be a senior officer of the Tal Shiar (the feared 'Secret Police' in the Romulan Star Empire; In most cases, answerable only to the Praetor him/herself#.

She'd also command her own ship, a Valdore-class Warbird. As you may know, Romulans worship predatory birds as gods, and this is reflected in the design of their ships; especially the prows of their D'deridex-class Warbirds that look like birds' heads (with beak), with plating patterning to resemble wings. This is more pronounced in said Valdore-class ships (illustrated). And of course, Gin has those wings of hers...

#- Sexism doesn't exist in Romulan society; there's been female Praetors, and it's not uncommon to find females commanding Warbirds (Donatra, of aforementioned Valdore-class ship, in the film "ST: Nemesis"). The Tal Shiar consists mainly of women.

As for Gin, i think she personally will be a Captain of a Gallente Capital Class Mothership and a fleet of Naval Class Battleships and fighters support.

The Capital Ship itself doesn't have offensive weapon. Relaying on the large amound of fighters it can deploy, The Mothership capable mounting defensive and electronic warfare modules. Such offensive weapon as signal distortions causing enemies ship unable to track or lock target and scram engines, makes enemies fall into the dead trap.

The reason i see fits because Gallente's projectile weapons is the same as Gin's feather attack. Mass firing long range piercing projectiles. And she accepts backup when possible.

I'm not all that familiar with EVE Online (never even heard of said ship, until you'd mentioned it). Star Trek/Wars/Babylon 5 is my thing.

But I could see said Sovereign-class & Valdore-class ships fighting together in common cause against, say, the Borg or even Species 8472.

Then later, Capt. Shinku & Cdr. Gin celebrating their victory over their enemy, with Tea (Earl Grey, hot) and Romulan Ale, in Shinku's ready room.

Methinks it'd have a multi-species crew; Klingons, and like the USS Defiant, a Romulan on board, to oversee (and operate) the cloaking device it has, given personally by Cdr. Gin (in thanks for Shinku's help in defending Romulus against an invasion by Species 8472)
