The bass is actually played with a bow quite often, but that would be a cello anyway because she is sitting down to play it. Bass players stand up when they play.

I feel I must add my knowledge, since I am a cellist and once played the bass: >>25 and >>86 are both cellos. You can tell by the size of the instrument, the fact that she is sitting to play it, and the style of the bow- the cello uses a french bow while the bass usually uses a german type (though a french bass bow is not unheard of, but is rediculously larger on the bass). Also,>>97, tunings are NOT the same, as the cello's strings (From high to low, A-D-G-C) are in a different order than the bass (G-D-A-E) and the cello lacks an E string. Also, the closest thing to the violin is not the bass, it is the viola, having similar size and sound (though being in a different clef and having the same string order as the cello).

Also, she's doing it wrong. Either the end pin (an extendable rod that the instrument rests on) is fully extended or someone's holding it up, but either way the angle of the instrument is far too high. The C peg (the lowest on viewers left in these images) should be just above her left ear, but here it's well behind her head. Also, the bow appears to be a violin's as it is about half the size it should be.

I've actually stumbled on a few more pics of her by some other photographers. It was at Lucca Comics 2008 where she made her appearance. I think it's an Italian comic convention.

I think these are completely valid questions, and I personally feel as if she is suitable as any of the other dolls created by Rozen, after all, if Rozen didn't think they had potential, would he not have removed them from the Alice Game? Even Suigintou has potential to become Alice.

But on a more straightforward note, Her abilities are the strongest in combat, though they lack the esoteric quality of growing magical brain trees, and magically animating dead dolls, the pure sonic damage of her plucky violin style is far superior to the other dolls damage dealing capabilities.

Furthermore, that same style of damaging music is used to erect a wall of sound, which would be much stronger than either feathers or pedals or vines could ever hope to be.

She has all the combat ability required, if only she was luckier.

She obviously has the heart to become Alice, she was willing to take on a far superior force, completely disregarding the damage four maidens could do to her, and later, what two psychopathic soul-stealing maidens could do to her. If that's not the heart of a champion I don't know what is.

I believe you are referring to the scene in Traumend where she attacks the Sakurada residence.

In that case I feel the need to inform you that her sonic attacks are less for damage and more for area stun.
