SmartOCR Lite. A Japanese OCR program. Just load the image and copy and paste any text it finds. Very useful for grabbing titles and artist names from "unknown" images.

Salutations, Desuchan. I remember lurking this board quite a bit way back when; its nice to still see some familiar names. But anyway, down to business. I was hoping some among you might know of an easy to learn video or audio editing software for PC. I realize I should probably just get a Mac, but since I'm rather destitute, I thought I'd come here before I start selling my organs and soul to Apple.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what you intend to do with "editing", but my personal preference is Sony Vegas for video editing and Audacity for general audio.

Learning them? just google what you want to find out and you'll probably come across a few good youtube videos. Sony Vegas has interactive tutorials built-in, so that's nice.

To be honest I'm not sure what I'll be doing with it either. Vegas sounds like a good all around program though and I've heard good tings about Audacity so I'll look into them, thanks.
