ATI Radeon 5770. Anyone have one? How does it fair against the 5800 series? Should I spend the extra money for the 58XX? I'm buying one for heavy gaming, but kinda budgeted. If there isnt much impact, I'll stick to teh 5770.

Although it's from back in June, it still can serve as a nice guidelines for comparison.

Got a R5770 the other week, it's amazing, seriously. Not only does it run everything maxed at 1080p but the computer seems to blow out cool air now..

dunno if you made your decision yet but get the GTS 450. It's around the same price or cheaper and it's better.

Yeah I've had this for about 2 weeks now and am VERY pleased. And I don't know about better. I have watched videos on a ton of benchmark tests against other NVIDIA cards and the 5770 is about 50/50 against other NVIDIA midrange cards. As far as I am concerned (for what I use my machine for), this works great.
