I don't have any experience with Melonbooks, mostly because their shipping in Japan is $5usd and Toranoana is half of that.
If Melonbooks had a couple of more doujins, so I can buy in bulk, I would definitely pick them up. But for now, I'm going to have to rely and wait on Toranoana, just because of my experience with them.

That is definitely Hideyoshi. The whole doujin is themed around BakaTest.
The only mistake is the eye color. For whatever reason, the artist gave Hideyoshi brown eyes instead of the original green.

It's a flv file, you should be able to save it with any of the programs/plugins made for that purpose, I use DownloadHelper on Firefox. Then just run it on your player (I use ZoomPlayer, but I assume most players are able to play flvs by now) and take screens from there.
Also, that was pretty nice.

Okay, I have a few problems with that.
If it was an actual published manga being posted, I could sympathize with the complaints.
The thing is, he's complaining about a doujinshi being uploaded.
One, many doujin have very limited print runs and/or are hard to acquire. There's no way we could all buy one even if we were willing to spare the cash.
Two, doujin artists use copyrighted series and characters as a basis to make money. Them complaining about someone posting their doujin, when they make money off of what is basically fanfiction, is a bit hypocritical.
Three, everything gets pirated on the internet, be it movies, games, comics, shows, or music. What about all the other doujinshi that have posted all over the net. And they choose to complain about this particular instance. Seriously, this is fucking small potatoes.
Recens, if you want to keep posting doujins you can just go ahead and do it. We would have never been able to experience any of them if it weren't for you and I appreciate the time, money, and effort you put into sharing those doujinshi with all of us.

Scanning does offer a way for people, including Japanese, who can't afford to go to comiket and spend hundreds of dollars on amateur porno comics to have a little of the fun.
I can understand being upset at some of the paysites that profit off of others' work, but sharing scans freely doesn't hurt anyone.

The logic behind it is that because it is scanned people are less likely to BUY it at comiket, not just going to comiket. It is indeed true a lot of Japanese internet users download RAWs from western sites but what should we do? Ban the Japanese?
I do have the feeling anyway those users wouldn't have paid for that doujin anyways, which is what a lot of people don't grasp because they're spoonfed by the Japanese corporation (like everywhere) that 1 download = 1 lost sale.
Also, if they complain that much about foreigners wanting their stuff then just fucking sell it somewhere where westeners can actually, you know, buy it at a reasonable price.
Problem is that whenever there is copyrighted characters involved, they can't do that (and most of the time Japanese artists just don't wanna come up with original characters or use them because whatever is popular at the time sells more than using original characters).
tl,dr: It's selfindulgent "we will get screwed if those bad, bad non-japanese share our works on the internet" instead of trying to find a way to make this profitable. And I wouldn't be surprised the artists are deluded enough actually think they can honestly convince other Japanese to not download stuff from the net (Protip: Half of the time it's those same Japanese who are putting this on share. Protip 2: Viruses on share are painfully easy to spot and any decent antivirus will detect them anyway).

Comparing countries is comparing apples and oranges. They have things they accept that we generally would not.
When you start messing with intercontinental stuff it gets dirty.. so it's best just to ignore it.
And yes, it is true that doujinshis are dirt cheap.. and are hella expensive to import..
Especially from that god damn Amazon.co.jp..
Charges $70 for shipping.. (For 2 Prunus Girl volumes worth a mere $6 each) -_-

These kinda battles on Doujin are very frequent occurrence in japan, and nothing but cavils by nutty trolls.
In the meantime,
There are a large number of Doujin-uploading sites in japanese-langauage,and most of Doujin-uploading sites are in fact run by japanese for Affiliate Rewards.
Except for right holders and publishing firms(not doujin-authors),No-one can insist on their rights.
And most of right holders are keeping quiet on fan-fiction for advertisings reasons.

I just bought these doujins by Mahouse along with a couple of others. I won't be scanning the other two because one is the already up and the other isn't that great.
The doujin on the left was extremely hard to get my hands on.(I was lucky, Toranoana had 1 copy left.) The doujin on the right is Mahouse's latest release and it looks really good.
So these two doujins will be scanned and ready to go in 1-2 weeks.
After the figure by Alter is released and the nendoroid, I will be officially be broke! Which isn't good at all since BakaTest's second season should be starting soon!

Well, I'm pretty much out of doujins to buy. A lot of doujins that are available aren't completely Hideyoshi focused and/or aren't really my taste in terms of art style.
I may pick up the two from ST.Rio and Pikotama, but there are no promises. There is the doujin by Heatwave that is set to release in a couple of hours. I might pick up the others along with that one.
Lets just hope that the second season will bring a lot more doujins.

Here's the next batch of doujins I'll be getting.
The first one is the new one by Heatwave that I'll definitely pick up.
The second one isn't completely Hideyoshi focused, but it has 36 pages, so it probably has Hideyoshi in it for a good amount.
Third one is an odd pairing. But they have Hideyoshi in a ponytail, so I really can't resist.
The fourth and fifth are by St.Rio which doesn't impress me a whole lot. Those might get swapped out later.
I'm waiting until the stock on the doujin by Heatwave to go down until I buy this batch. Hopefully there will be better doujins out before then.

Sega also released a swimsuit version of Himeji and Minami along with the Hideyoshi figure. But it seems that Hideyoshi's figure is the only one that isn't on sale.

Hobbysearch's shipping might be a bit high compared to others, but they usually have the latest merchandise.

Surely you remember this pic, it first showed up on Megami Magazine.
Pic on the right is the original, that area in the circle always bothered me. Some people say it's supposed to be a bulge, but to me it kinda makes Hideyoshi look fat. To my surprise, they actually fixed it, pic to the left comes from a shirt design (btw, thanks for the site Recens).
Does anyone have a high res version of the pic on the left? Or could pull the same trick on the already available right one?
