Just working on getting Wrong End 8 to get that final ExChapter I'm missing. All in all though, I enjoyed it. Kinda want to go back and play parts again.

Personally, I can't read mine with the voices on. I usually have them on when I first start, just so that I can get an idea of what their voice is supposed to sound like, but then I turn them off, because otherwise I'll read it slow as fuck and get distracted (I have ADHD).
I hate reading it with an English speaking voice in my head, because it will always sound like the shitty dubs that Funimation does over their anime, not that the Japanese voices are much better...
Pic related, it's one of the VN's I'm currently reading. I love the artwork, but I've been disappointed with the story so far.
TL;DR - Any tips for someone with ADHD for reading more efficiently?

I consider the voices an integral part of a VN, when I'm lucky enough it has any. I'd never turn them off, not even protagonist's and I'll go to some lengths to ensure I always hear the full line.
I like to imagine this slowly teaches me more Japanese. it helps that I do understand a fairly large part of the spoken dialogue and I enjoy noticing differences between what is said and the translation. I'm also able to pick up on some minor but untranslatable nuances in speech patterns. (formal/feminine/childish speech)

Fullscreen, in Japanese, all voices turned on, in Linux, either on my quiet little nettop hooked up to a 27 inch monitor (at home) or my netbook (on the train).
There are quite a few VNs that I haven't read simply because they weren't voiced, actually.

About linux...
May I ask for the tutorial you followed for using wine with japanese eroge? (if such tutorial exist) I followed some out there but always failed and didn't worked for all games (if a game happens to work on my wine)...

Hey, remember Misuzu from AIR? Remember how she died?
Her voice actress, Tomoko Kawakami passed away from ovarian cancer on June 9th 2011.
Also, she voiced Utena. So that should give you a good idea of her range and talent.

So, I just started playing this, and so far it's pretty good.
The music is good, (I think the reason I found out about it was because it was done by the same people that did YMK's soundtrack, actually.) the art is pretty good (Not eye-blasting amazing, but it's not horrible, either.) and the characters are so far pretty good, if sometimes they get REALLY fucking out there, Sepia especially.
The basic idea is rather intriguing, and it looks like it's going to make for some good drama, especially with Natsumi's obligation. Pops (Whatever his name is) is looking like he's going to be a WONDERFUL villain, especially with him being voiced by god damned NORIO WAKAMOTO. The characters seem rather fleshed out, while still managed to fit into the classic VN molds that provide us with comfortable familiarity.
Anybody else played this? What do you think of it? Mind you, I've only gotten to Amnesty Day, so keep the spoilers low if you could.

Well I just finished Sharin no Kuni using sachi's route.
Not bad at all.
Its too bad i dont know how many hours it took me... probably less than fate/stay night IMHO
Now lets get the 'harem' ending... eheheh
