With the (sorta) recent censor going around killing online manga sites, where do you people go to read manga online?

Mangafox and Onemanga is where I used to go, but they both got fucked over with censors, so I'm with Mangatoshokan.com for now.

What about you?

I prefer to download, and then read. I track down an active scanlating-group to the manga that I consider reading, and then obtain the archive-files from their websites/glorified blogs.

But for those occasions when downloading is not an option, I've found that http://www.mangareader.net/ updates their manga reasonably fast. Wouldn't consider calling it good, still. Quality is always an issue reading online, at least to me.

>> No.11234   [Delete]   [Edit]

Well you pretty much mentioned almost all the online readers i go to so i wont bother to mention those. But i usually also download the mangas and read them from my desktop if they don't have them on the readers yet. Usually for the monthly mangas. A good site for that is Mangatraders.com it has a pretty damn solid amount of manga. Of course that's only if you want to download them seeing as they don't have an online reader.

>> No.11235   [Delete]   [Edit]

I've been using a manga downloader/online reader:

http://domdomsoft.com/home/2009/08/06/manga-downloader/domdomsoft-manga-downloader-2/

Simple interface, has a list of sites built in, all the standard filters, etc. etc. And once you've found what you're looking for you can either have it automatically download the manga or use the built in online reader.

Handy little tool, makes life a lot easier. Especially trying to rip manga from sites like mangafox.

Ever since the incident, I've been going on Baka-updates and getting my fixes directly from the scanlators' sites, but if >>11235 is as efficient as it sounds, then I'll be going with that.

About time I used Mangameeya regularly, anyway.

>> No.11237   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>11236
The two work well together, the DomDomSoft downloader can archive the pages into .cbzs or .zips, which Mangameeya is perfectly capable of reading out of. Good for keeping things organized.

The different garb she wore, her hair in odangos, and her bare legs in KG-a did it for me,

Better luck next year, I guess. Ragnarok Online gathering was pretty good this year, though it's been steadily decreasing in size. I'll post some photos up in a few days, with my face conveniently censored out.

So, the last episode aired recently and they just destroyed the characters of Kanade-chan and Yuri.
Am I the only one thinking, that this anime was just average?
The potential was there and they could have made it so much better, but there are too many unlogical events for me.

Wasnt worth the "hype" If it had more episodes to introduce all the characters properly it would have been better.

>> No.10885   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>10883

Well actually, it was more that they were able to relax, without the concerns of keeping up appearances for others. After all, the battles were over, they'd 'won' and were moving on.

There were a fair few holes though, not to mention the complete lack of foresight on their parts. 'So yes, we're immortal and in a paradise where we can do/make what we want, so let's all pile off back home'. Not only that, Otonashi suddenly realises that someone has to stay to pass the wisdom on to others as soon as he's just about the only one left. Riiiiiiight.

Still, it was a good anime, could have been better, but good nonetheless.

>> No.10888   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>10813

I don't think they gave the series enough time. It started out about right, but felt more and more rushed as it went on until things were happening so fast they barely made sense anymore.

I think the series may have been far better if it were given 24/26 episodes.

This board is for anime and tropical fruit also known as mangos. That being said I will hijack this thread.

So /a/ what mangos are you looking forward to this summer? I'm going to be eating: Cambodiana, Kensington Pride, and probably Poirier. There's a lot of hype about the Brooks mango but I think its overrated.
