Basically the cosplays, the merchandise, and if possible, the performances. But most of all, what makes going to conventions awesome is the opportunity to make new friends that have common passions.

I go to meet people and new friends. Anime cons are one of the few places I feel as if i get it socially, I actually fit in.

I can't wait to get to one again

I don't go. Mainly because they never come up the frozen north where I live, and I lack the motivation to travel to see one.

If I did go, it would probably be a combination of the guests and the "atmosphere" of a lot of people that all enjoy the same medium.

I tried to go to my local anime convention (Kawaii Kon), but I found out I had to order tickets ahead of time. So it's next year for me! It'll be my fist ever convention, so I have no idea what to expect here (though sadly I probably won't find any Touhou stuff)

Of course, there was something I learnt from my cosplaying experiences back at Cosfest: you either become a cosplayer or a photographer, never both at the same time. I learnt it the hard way when my Salaryman Kyuubey cosplay didn't receive enough camera time during Cosfest when I was balancing between both roles as a cosplayer and a photographer.

It was a great retelling of the anime series with extra henshin scenes and revamped BGMs, particularly Kalafina's vocal cover of Mami's theme (Credens Justitiam) which almost made me shed manly tears.

The third movie will be released next year, so do catch up on the Madoka Magica series (if you haven't)!

Just watched the Madoka movie. No idea what they are going to do for the 3rd movie as the 1st and 2nd summarised the TV series nicely...

Things I noticed:
No mentioned of Mami's wish
Dream sequence in 2nd movie instead of it being first
Homura's artillery barrage was still as good.
