That in the background looks like one of the detector arrays in the Large Hadron Collider. Or even a Stargate.

Pic somewhat related (Lego, but the symbol ring is motorised, and has LEDS that light up the chevrons).

>concerning the characteristics of Shinku

Well, I would agree that beauty can be a subjective matter, I'm the type of chap that is head over heels in love with blonde hair and deep blue eyes.
But you would have to do better than displaying a reactionface to impress me.

I suppose the burden of proof is on my shoulders regardless. I'll argue my case a bit then...

I consider her both wise and intelligent because she seems to have stored the knowledge she has been exposed to during the years, and accepted even the harshest of facts instead of turning a blind eye to some of them like, for an example, Hina Ichigo would. She also seems to use the vast amount of knowledge extensively in her quest to become Alice, analyzing, reflecting, detecting connections, the definition of intelligence. She also shows signs of being able to adapt her perception of the world and her purpose to new insights and realizations, instead of trying to either twist facts to fit inside a pre-determined bubble-like perception, or ignore them outright. That differs her from the Self-Righteous Zealot Souseiseki, and the Vengeful, Distrustful Suigintou, both who seem rather close-minded, something that I don't think is befitting of a sublime and pure Alice.

Da‘wah (Arabic: دعوة‎) usually denotes preaching of Islam. Da‘wah means literally "issuing a summons" or "making an invitation", being the active participle of a verb meaning variously "to summon, to invite" (whose triconsonantal root is د ع ى). A Muslim who practices da‘wah, either as a religious worker or in a volunteer community effort, is called a dā‘ī, plural du‘āt. A dā‘ī is thus a person who invites people to understand Islam through a dialogical process, and may be categorized in some cases as the Islamic equivalent of a missionary, as one who invites people to the faith, to the prayer, or to Islamic life.

Hey Faggots,

My name is Shinku, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, Uncivil, losers who spend every second of their Time trying to look at pictures of Suiseiseki
naked. You are everything Undecent in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever had a servent? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of me for not being able to reach to door handle, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than microwaving your tea.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I am the fairest of the rozen maidens, and can read book's in mutiple languages. What activities do you do, other than "Jerk off to dolljoint's on desuchan"? I also am called the good sister, and have a banging hot boyfriend (He just solved a mystery; Shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

Not necessarily. It isn't "meant" to be served any way unless you subscribe to certain ceremonies - but I don't recall any such ceremonies that specify it to be served cold. The Japanese matcha ceremony is most definitely for hot tea; all Chinese ceremony that I know of (which isn't much, admittedly) doesn't specify temperature, simply method.

What sources are you going by that green tea is meant to be served cold?

If you had Shinku's time-reversal magic, what would you use it for? Everyday things like cleaning up something you broke or spilled? Or would you go all out and try to prevent wars before they started?

I used to think that Johnny Cash was the change from a Durex machine, until I discovered Smirnoff.

So to start off the official Dawa tea thread I'm posting pics of some awesome tea. Mostly proper loose leaf tea with some exceptionally good bagged shit mixed in (even if it is still bagged shit).

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Vietnamese Artichoke tea.

Though traditionally used in Europe for treating mild indigestion, especially following a meal high in fat, artichoke tea can be enjoyed at any time, but particularly at bedtime. Using one bag per cup, pour on freshly boiled water and allow the tea to brew for 3-5 minutes. Obviously for the best flavour and to keep more goodness in, brew in a teapot.

The artichoke is one of the world's oldest medicinal plants. The ancient Egyptians placed great value on the plant. The ancient Greeks and Romans used it as a digestive aid. It was favoured by royalty in the 16th century. It is cooling and soothing. Cynarin, the active ingredient in Artichoke Tea, is considered to have considerable health benefits and is believed to:

  • protect the liver against toxins and infections
  • lower blood cholesterol by lowering synthesis of cholesterol in the liver
  • act as a diuretic
  • act as a liver tonic
  • lower blood sugar levels

The colder it gets the more it tastes like a fart smells. Downright dreadful after 20 minutes.

Right now I'm in love with an earl grey made with white tea and red rose buds. Teaopia calls it "Princess Earl Grey". The first brew is perfectly fine to drink (I give it 2:30 @ 80 degrees C), but the second and third (brewed for 2:45) brings out this surreal sweetness that is most obvious at around 55 degrees.
