and Floor 8 cleans

I'd like to remind you that the scans were provided by sir Worm, whose contribution to our doll business is hard to be overestimated.

So, does it seem like the new manga will have any tie-ins to the present day Rozen Maiden timeline (from the first and second series)? Or is it completely separate and really just a normal prequel? It would be kinda cool if they could influence the future with Jun. I didn't really like the ending of the second manga.

>> No.4558   [Delete]   [Edit]

well ... it does look like Pigeon pulled a DesuCake and bailed without bothering to tell anyone

the last ch she posted was WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back in september of last year ... when she did an update to ch 6 after some mistakes were pointed out to her

Pigeon Wrath 16/09/28(Wed)10:11 No.4532 [Delete] [Edit]

Yeah, I already updated the .rar.

it is now february ... almost 5 full months since then

it is probably safe to assume that Pigeon is not going to be doing any more scanlations

does anyone know of anyone else who could work on this series ?
like maybe hyakki, that finished RMII after DesuCake poof'd

And since that point in September, Peach-Pit has released...

Two chapters.

Such a huge backlog! How ever will we catch up!?!?

I know it's hard to believe, but there are times where people have to put things like work and their social lives before translating and typesetting a manga in their own time. That's what happened with previous translators. I made a post explaining this in December but you seem to have missed it.

Just because it's been a while doesn't mean it isn't being worked on, and we're not THAT far behind. It helps that the plot hasn't even picked up steam yet.

As it stands right now, I could easily see translated chapters for Floor 7, 8 and 9 (this one is coming out later this month) being scanlated and released before Floor 10 is out. Something like that wasn't really feasible back when the Tales were being translated, which should show you that this isn't the same situation as that.

I know it's been a while since their last post but that's because there isn't really a whole lot for them to say besides "it's coming"

>> No.4560   [Delete]   [Edit]

it isnt about how many ch's have or have not come out since september of last year

and is it really a good thing to point that out sooooooooooooooooooo dramatically

because if only two ch's have come out in the past 5 months ... that means that Pigeon could hardly claim to be sooooooooo overloaded by soooooooo many ch's that are coming out one right after another

why not face it dude ... you have been trying to steadfastly defend someone who to all appearances hasnt even come in here in something like 5 months ... not even a single word or post of any sort saying "hey my real life is very busy right now so translations will have to wait" ... nothing ... just month after month of silence

let's get real dude

>> No.4561   [Delete]   [Edit]

Again, it's not the amount of chapters coming out that's the problem, it's how busy the translator themselves is.

I dunno if you've noticed, but this site is pretty dead. There's only been like 20 posts total in this thread in the past five months, it shouldn't be too surprising if you're not seeing posts from somebody, especially when there isn't a lot to say. Even I forget to check this thread for a weeks at a time.

If you're really concerned about the status of the translations, wouldn't it be more beneficial to try and contact the person doing them and get your concerns across instead of waiting for them to post here (keep in mind that this isn't the "official RM0 thread of all the internet" or anything, the manga gets uploaded to other places) instead of shitting yourself and assuming the worst?

You're not going to get translations of a niche manga like RM (face it, it's not 2007 anymore) without some caveats.

Right now you've got one person translating it in their free time, and unless you're going to pay somebody else to translate it or hope that some group out there picks it up out of the goodness of their heart (not happening), refer to my previous image.

I get that you're concerned, and that's why I'm telling you not to worry. Eventually the chapters will come out, we'll get caught up and this will be a distant memory.

yeah, this site has been mostly dead for years, the admins never even finished posting sticky links for the second arc

as for you forgeting to check this site for weeks at a time ... well, I'm not like you, I check this site, and several others I get manga from at least once every day ... so if something gets posted I see it

as for your comments about Pigeon, still trying to defend her ... those are pretty much the same stuff that was being said by people trying to convince everyone that DesuCake would be right back real soon to finish translating

have a nice day dude ... yes we all get it, you are a staunch defender of Pigeon

>... well, I'm not like you, I check this site, and several others I get manga from at least once every day

Well, that's fine if you wanna do that. But that must be pretty uneventful considering there's not much discussion here and it's probably contributing towards your frustration. If I forget to check this site and it turns out I could've read the latest chapter a couple days earlier, I don't really consider it that big of a loss.

>yes we all get it, you are a staunch defender of Pigeon

I see no reason not to hold out hope. The quality of chapters released so far have been great (remember arguecat?), it seems silly to give up so quickly at the first snag. Especially after waiting so long for the Tales translations. This is nothing.

arigato gozaimasu :-)

I see where you have been contributing the scans ... thank you for the translation

All credits from the translation go to the russian team. A few different people helped with quality check, but the hard work was definitely done by our russian friends :)

I'm finally back!

As my friend stated before, I was too busy with work, family issues, etc, to keep up. I apologize for not saying anything directly, but I was so stressed out that desuchan was the least of my worries. Thanks to the Russian team for translating Floor 7 in my absence. I'm back and able to resume translating Floor 8.

Floor 9 cleans

>> No.4581   [Delete]   [Edit]

hmmmmmm, that was back in mid-june
ch 8 was already translated by the Russians
the cleaned raws for ch 9 were posted in late June

it is now mid-August ........ and not a word from Pigeon

any bets that neither will get translated by Pigeon before the end of 2017 ... and maybe not in 2018 either ... unless the Russian team does ch 9

Anyone who can translate?

all we can do is hope that the Russian team notices that Pigeon isnt doing anything ... and maybe they will translate ch 9 ... they did 7 & 8

the russian team is probably already aware of it but has not been doing much themselves since peach pit also took a break

I understand

and yeah it has seemed like even coming from Peach Pit, the ch's for RM0 have seemed to be widely spaced

If you're referring to these drawings of the dolls in Taisho clothing, there's an RM exhibition running in Tokyo from September to October. These dolls will be on display and for sale, and Peach-Pit art of these designs will also be on display.

wondering how many years it will be until the rest of this story gets scanlated into English ? ? ?

>> No.4617   [Delete]   [Edit]

Here are raws for ROZEN MAIDEN 0 from Chapter 11 to Chapter 15 so far.

More Rozen Maiden 0 raws might be uploaded later onto that site since that site is focused on providing raws for various manga.

Also, has anybody here ever thought of posting on 4chan's anime & manga board to try to generate interest in Rozen Maiden again, specifically the Rozen Maiden manga? Because 4chan's anime & manga board does have manga scanlators and volunteers like typesetters and editors and even translators who have successfully translated/scanlated manga under the name /a/nonymous or /a/nonymous scanlations.

Looking at the two mangaupdates links, you can see the amount of successfuly translated manga, /a/ scanlators managed to release over the years.

I'm just saying that for people who would like help in translating the Rozen Maiden manga, people from 4chan's anime and manga board might be willing to help.

Here's a link to 4chan's anime and manga board in case anybody is confused over which board to go too.

yes it is, and we have up to floor 15 translated already, all that is pending is typesetting and reviewing. floor 10 will be released soon.

You should upload it to mangadex, since with how that site is laid out it would give the series more attention and maybe bring back some fans

Hey, just wanted to leave you guys some critique on this. I've been involved on several other releases in this thread and I don't understand Japanese myself but I wanna point out a few things to help you guys out.

I don't think it's bad, I do think that a little more time on localizing would help. I'm mostly a little bothered about "Botchan" not being translated to anything when previous translators used "young master" for that. The typesetting looks fine for the most part. There's also text in brackets that seem to be notes for the translators? Not sure about it.

Also I know you used digital rips when rmk posted a higher quality cleaned version at >>4578. Obviously this is the last cleaned scan uploaded here (for the moment at least) but I can see about asking for cleans of the later floors.
Regardless of what you do I wish you good luck and thank you for undertaking this.
