I was posting trap and trap-to-shemale stuff in /tr/.

I assumed it is fine because there are at least three other threads about that type of stuff.
http://desuchan.net/tr/res/50826.html
http://desuchan.net/tr/res/50800.html
http://desuchan.net/tr/res/46532.html

I was than banned for "Keep that futa shit off of our /tr/, asshole"
If my threads were read it would be apparent that there was no futa posted. Only trap and trap-to-shemale.

have you guys seen the new 420chan? The software, whatever they're using, is pretty nice. As an example, .gif thumbnails animate, and the website just has more eyecandy in general. I was wondering if we could update our software, at least to animate gifs... This website looks like it's from the 90s...

What are the odds that I could be...unbanned? Don't get me wrong. I honor and respect your community and the eternal wisdom and unlimited power of it's administrators/moderators (who have been so kind as to provide us with this wonderful forum). But I can't help but feel that an error has been made.

If you believe everything Wikipedia says (and I absolutely do), then a troll is defined as someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response.

Having been banned for trolling on /boku/ I intend to set out to judge the accuracy of said claim against this operating definition of a "troll". I believe we can reasonably agree that my postings were neither extraneous or off-topic. This leaves only "inflammatory", with the intention of provoking an emotional response.

I grant that being a forum for people who like Boku, some of my more articulate and poetic insults may have communicated my distaste for Souseiseki with more emphasis than was really necessary to make my point. And while I would still like the record to show that I think she's a poopy-head, perhaps I should have taken the delicate sensitivities of the forum users into greater account. I know how disrupting reading mean things on the internet can be. This one time I read that heavy rains interfered with the second flush pick of Darjeeling and I punched somebody's parrot an hour later. It was an ugly parrot anyways.

Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>> No.1641   [Delete]   [Edit]

If you don't like Souseiseki and you rub it on the people at /boku/, I call it trolling and based on how inflammatory your comments were, you're hoping to incite a backlash from other users. I have given you a month's ban, and it will be lifted in a month. Please reflect on what you have done wrong. Thank you.

>> No.1642   [Delete]   [Edit]

Awwww, you're mean. If you keep this up, I'm not going to send you a Desumas card.

Isn't it possible that I'm not a troll at all, but just a boorish oaf? I reread what I wrote, and I didn't intend for it to be as malicious as it sounds now. Sometimes I forget that the golden rule doesn't work with people who get offended by things written on *chan boards. Whoops.

All I'm saying is that if someone said that crap about my Tenshi-sama, all I would do is address what they said and explain to them in detail why they're wrong. Well whatever.

In retrospect, I don't think you were wrong to give me the ban, and I'm not asking you to lift it now. For one, I can still browse the boards, and second, as long as I removed my tripcode (which I only adopted to help identify myself to GS&G) I could continue posting as well, and you already know this since you HAVE to proxy in order to post on /sugg/...

My point is that I'm apologizing but I certainly didn't have to. Make of that whatever you will.

>>1731
I assume your post was deleted on /boku/ for the comment which I deleted, so I'm gonna summarise based on a complaint:

You claimed to not care about Hamuleen, but you acted like you cared because of discontent. I don't mind you questioning the rules (I admit of the cockups on behalf of the Hamuleen committee), but you were too persistent, too abrasive on your words and I was in a bad mood, hence the hard ban. Besides, if you don't give a damn about Hamuleen, what makes you give a damn about the rulings? The rules this year have been set in stone at /ro/, and out of respect for Aphex - who started this tradition - I intended to follow it. I will assure you and everyone else that the rules will be under review because Aphex has let us take free reign of Hamuleen.

As for your ban, I have reduced it. I will not say more, other than reflecting on what YOU have done instead of what I have done.

Don't know if this is just me, or if it's a problem with the site, but whenever I try to edit a post that has moon runes in it, the moon runes turn into weird jibberish.

For example, the Index thread on /tr/: there's one thread labeled as ベルダーシュ~僕と私の逃避行~. However, when I actually hit the edit link to add more stuff, that particular bit of text turns into ベルダーシュ~僕と私の逃避行~. Needless to say, a bit irritating, not to mention how difficult the problem makes it to implement my plan of having Pixiv tags in there.

Pic mostly unrelated, but it has moon runes on it.

you may not have the proper I/O for your system. you may need to get an Language Interface Pack (LIP).

Ah, thanks. Although I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium, so no language packs for me... -_-

I'll probably just keep the contents of the Index backed up in a Notepad file that I can just copy+paste into the edit window every time I have to make a change.

Hello. I'm from an foreign imageboard, and don't know if there's some kind of moderation board exists (yet this one seems like an appropriate place), but nevertheless:

http://desuchan.net/h/res/13686.html

Somebody has posted CP there, and I'm hoping for the fast removal. Thank you.

/media/'s file size limit is apparently wrong?

I tried uploading a 24MB .png file and it said the file was too large.

Transformation/genderbending?

I'm okay with that.

>> No.1690   [Delete]   [Edit]

It had a trial run in /sandbox/ but due to the lack of posts, it was deleted and replaced with another trial board

>> No.1692   [Delete]   [Edit]

/tog/ board is definitely needed

>> No.1693   [Delete]   [Edit]

I thought it had plenty of posts - would have had more if it wasn't made into essentially a wh40k-only board.

>> No.1694   [Delete]   [Edit]

/tg/ actually still exists, although as a hidden board. It is mainly due to this that it is not active and stuff, but it exists anyway. You can try the link below if you don't believe me.

http://desuchan.net/tg/

Basically, the only thing that needs to be done is to put it on the menu, and that would be that.
