So, how did you like Portal 2?

Personally, I've found a new favourite game.

My mind, was blown to bits.

if it was the end of the year i'd say fucking GOTY.
i love GLaDOS more than ever. It's just that most testchambers seem a bit easy... either that or i'm a genius figuring them out in mere seconds :3

also i just played the coop mode splitscreen with my brother. though it crashed very often (due to that dualscreen hax he insisted of using) the puzzles were very fun so far.

Def on my list of must-plays

yes it did seem much easier. And the seemed a lot more comedy, my feelings are mixed on this...
YET THAT GAME WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME
Hold on while I manually override this wall.

Love it. Love love love love it.

Also, if any of you fgts want to co-op on steam, add me. MoogleDee

the coop was kinda cool. but like the singleplayer pretty easy most the time. only near the end it was complex and challenging.

>> No.5926   [Delete]   [Edit]

Haven't finished it yet over here, but it's been pretty good so far, definitely a high replay value so far, and a nice twist to the plot. (not spoiling) In the end, it is a vastly improved sequel to an already great game, adding several new elements to keep you going for a while and adding obvious visual improvements that make the game appealing to the eye.

I don't regret getting this game at all.

I do believe it is only a matter of time before Atlas and P-Body have been replaced by Desu and Boku.

>> No.5930   [Delete]   [Edit]

it was awesome and has decent length, though I'm not that much of a fan of the gel levels.

overall, awesome game. but so was crysis 2. quite happy to have torrented them both :]

might buy portal 2 next year at christmas for 5 bucks for the co-op and extra stuff they put into it by then.

There are several of you who point out the difficulty of this game being rather... not difficult.
You might not have noticed but in Portal 1 there were portal surfaced everywhere, for testing purposes, in portal 2 there were only portal surfaces where they could be useful, sadly. (also no energy balls, and no moving platforms, only panels)

However the Coop is a little more challenging, if you haven't tried it, you are missing out.

>>5932
What? The moving platforms were in the game still. But yeah, the energy ball removal was kinda sad, but I do believe the laser beams kinda made up for that loss.

And yeah, the devs kinda made it a bit too obvious where you were supposed to put your portals.

actually, i already looked into the .vpk's and found Chell's, Atlas' and P-Body's modelfiles. they have a shitload of animation files etc. it probably will take some time to get custom models to work. even L4D(2) models aren't taht perfect yet.

Seems like the time challenges will be returning.

1st contender for GOTY imo, man.
Awesome single player campaign (plus a load of stuff i didn't do, lines I've yet to hear, etc)
every line is gold in my book
ending so damn over the top I had my :O face 15 minutes afterwards
plus, coop campaign was a challenge for my friend and me :)

>> No.6267   [Delete]   [Edit]

I prefer the first Portal

Also, agree with this;
