It probably doesn't qualify as yandere because there was no love, but I had a pretty scary situation in Freshman year. There was an assassin game going on in campus, which basically means people sign up on a big list and are given another name on that list. They have to "kill" that person by marking them with a marker or getting them wet with a spray bottle or something. You usually had a week to do it, and when everyone killed their target, the roster was understandably cut in half and everyone left was given a new name.
I lived in an apartment and the only people I knew were my roommates. I literally only left my room for class, and I only had like one class a day, so I could wait for my target. In the end I got to the Semi-finals, but my name got pulled by the person who'd won the last three years in a row. She ended up tracking me everywhere, found out my classes and schedule, found out where I lived, found out my roommates, the works. After the fourth day I just stopped leaving my apartment altogether, decided to take the next week off (drag the game out so long that they just bumped us to the finals). All the while she kept calling me with my number she'd found and waiting outside.
What I didn't know was that she had been getting in at night when I slept via the deck outside (we were on the second story). I assume that had I left my room she would have attacked me, but her central goal was to find out what kind of door and lock I had. In the end, she got in with my idiot roommate and his friends, hung around till they all left, then opened the lock on my door and got in. It ended when she turned on my phone, crawled on me when I was asleep, and then rang my phone. The ringing woke me up, she was sitting on me so I couldn't move, and drew a line across my neck with a marker. Keeping in mind that it was pitch black when this happened so I didn't know what the fuck was going on.
