Finally got around to compiling my translations into a thread here. Will update thread as I (slowly) translate more chapters. If anyone would like to help (editing or translating) let me know.

thank you for your efforts ... if it was only possible to read them

I tried to read Rot-Schwarz ... and gave up before I got to the first ch because it would not even load unless I completely exited the document and re-entered the document

if you could upload them as either .rtf ... .pdf ... or ePub files it would be much easier for people to read them

not everyone uses the google browser ... and many do not want to have to download/install it so that it might be easier to read what you uploaded

Really? That's weird...I can view the links in firefox just fine, even when not signed into my google account. But I took your advice, and converted Rot-Schwarz to .pdf files. Hopefully you can read it now! I'll convert the others too.

thank you ... the pdf files work great :-)

>> No.4371   [Delete]   [Edit]

I have a couple of questions about the files for Rot-Schwarz

is there a chapter 8 ? ... there is no "n = 8"

and ch 1/7 ... where does it fit in the story ... the ch list in the google doc shows it as the final ch in the story
... but as ch 17 in the pdf file (I know computers do not like the "/" in a file name) is shows up on my comp as coming right after ch 1

>> No.4372   [Delete]   [Edit]

...I forgot chapter 8 because I'm a fucking idiot. I edited the .rar, so download it again and it should be there.

As for chapter 1/7, yes, it's the last one, but as you said, you can't use the "/" character in file names, so I just left it as 17.

thank you for the re-pack :-)

we are all human, and none of us are perfect ... I have made plenty of mistakes like that in my life, the old nick-name for them is a "brain fart"

and thank you for the feedback on ch 1/7

Thank you so much, downloaded Rot-Schwarz

Just curious, which one is about the sisters, I know one is dedicated to them.
This makes me really excited to see someone working on this, seriously OP, you are a bro

>> No.4376   [Delete]   [Edit]

I'm not the OP ... but I know which LN you are referring to ... it is Zwillinge ("twins" in German) ... that is the one about Suiseiseki and Souseiseki

Hi! thanks for your work! I have a few questions... to which of the novels "bonus chapter" belongs?, Are these four novels considered cannon? or they are not? and, Would you give me permission to translate them into spanish? Thanks you again.

> to which of the novels "bonus chapter" belongs?

The bonus chapter isn't found in any of the novels; it was originally posted on Jump j-Books' (the publisher for the second two novels) website. I've finally uploaded my translation in .pdf form for anyone who can't access the google doc.

>Are these four novels considered cannon? or they are not?

Yes, they follow the manga canon. The first two novels (Schwarzer Wind and Kalkgrun Augen) take place during the first manga, while the second two novels (Zwillinge and Rot-Schwarz) take place during the second manga and contain flashbacks to before the series. The bonus chapter also takes place before the series.

>Would you give me permission to translate them into spanish?

Of course! Just credit me for the Japanese to English translation. Also, if you're the same person who's translating RM0 into Spanish, I can give you the .psd files for future chapters--that way, you don't have to erase any text or artwork, just type in the new text. :)

>> No.4417   [Delete]   [Edit]

thank you for the pdf file of the bonus ch :-)

>> No.4418   [Delete]   [Edit]

Thank you for clarified both things to me.

Of course I will give you credit :)

Yeah I´m the guy, then I have to apologize for not asking you for your permission to translate RM0, and yeah! .psd files would be a big help to editing! any FB page, gmail or email to contact you? Thanks to you again!

>> No.4420   [Delete]   [Edit]

Don't worry, it's no big deal! From what little Spanish I know, your translation is good. My gmail is kakizakimegu.

Is this project still ongoing? :(

>> No.4468   [Delete]   [Edit]

It is, but I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to work on this, sorry ;w; I'm really close to finishing Chapter 1 of Schwarzer Wind, though!

>> No.4469   [Delete]   [Edit]

Oh that's very good to hear! and well... I didn't mean to pressure you, take your time! thank you for your work on this and the manga!! :D

>> No.4570   [Delete]   [Edit]

Sorry. But I wonder if the project is still ongoing. Is it?

>> No.4594   [Delete]   [Edit]

Sadly no, it's on hiatus. Not sure when I'll get to it again.

I've finished Zwillinge. I'll finish off the cover pages and make an epub tonight

>> No.4741   [Delete]   [Edit]

I've finished Zwillinge. It took a lot longer than I thought, the automatic translation needed to be completely rewritten. I tried my best to keep creative liberties to a minimum. The exceptions were reducing anime cliches, replacing them with western mannerisms fit for the time period. I referred to boku as a boy until you find out her gender (it was too hard to tell if the original did this) I also watered down some of the magic fights, as there was too much going on.

The book itself is pretty enjoyable to read. I liked it more than Rot Schwarz. Here's the completed version of Zwillinge. I hope you enjoy reading it:

I'll also post it to that tumblr account who started the translation in 2016. only three years too late, lol

If you find any mistakes, please let me know and I'll fix it up. Here's the doc version if anyone wants to edit something:

>> No.4743   [Delete]   [Edit]

I'm humbled that you fixed up my shitty machine translation, really am. I couldn't be bothered to fix up the grammar and other errors in it so props to you. Though, there's an issue with the lengths you took to fix it. I didn't feel that it was worth my time to go back and correct all the vague details because doing so in a accurate manner means going back to the original text and running it through Jisho instead of Google Translate. It's a hugely time-consuming process because, while Jisho gives a more accurate translation, it's one you have to make yourself with the tools the site gives you. Since you only worked off the machine translation some of the vague details ended up being incorrect. Some of it is a bit of an issue, but this is mostly me being nitpicky.

If you'd like, I can pass a burner email for you to contact so I can provide you extra material for a more accurate translation. Or if you'd like to pass on the opportunity that's fine too.

On another note, the last 2 light novels are an absolute bitch to run through Google Translate due to having to write out text in a language I barely understand (I used a digital copy for Zwillinge and I could at least copy/paste into Google Translate). If you or anyone else reading this thread is interested I can show you the ropes on how I do this and help out on the effort. Truthfully I don't have much of a start on it. Half an hour per 2 sentences is actual insanity, fuck kanji

>> No.4744   [Delete]   [Edit]

> pass a burner email for you

Yes please, I've already started going back through and tweaking some little things. There were sections where the auto translate was so bad I felt I kind of just guessed what the hell was going on. So fixing things up would be great.

I don't mind helping out trying to get the other ones translated
